Butter cake



200gm flour (use 100gm plain and 100gm cake)
5 gm baking powder
(sieve )

250gm butter beat till fluffy
Then add slowly 80gm sugar
Continue beating

Then add in 4 egg yolks; one at a time
Continue beating till blended

Add in 1/3 flour; mix slowly
Add in 1 tblspn milk
Add in 1/3 flour
Add in 1 tblspn milk
Add in 1/3 flour

Beat 4 egg whites till fizzy
Add in 80gm sugar bit by bit till stiff peak

Add 1/3 egg white into flour mixture
Fold in slowly
Add the rest in 2 times
Fold in

Put onto 8 inch square tin
Bake at preheat oven 160 deg c for 50 mins
